Tasia T. Katapodis
Tasia T. Katapodis is North Atlanta Regional President for BB&T. She has more than 24 years of banking experience which includes 18 years with BB&T. She was business services officer in Charlotte, N.C. then as BB&T’s first employee in Atlanta, she headed the loan production offices prior to BB&T’s full entry into the market via several mergers. She became Area Executive in Atlanta until she was named to her current position in January 2006.
Actively involved in the Atlanta business community, Ms Katapodis has served as an executive board member of the League of Women Voters, is a member of the Metro Chamber of Commerce and formerly served on the board of directors for the Foundation of Medically Fragile Children. She has also participated as a member the North Fulton, Dekalb and Cobb counties chambers of commerce, and as an honorary board member, Special Olympics.
Tasia was born in Memphis, Tennessee and graduated with a BA from Vanderbilt University in Nashville. She and her husband, Harry, are both involved with the local non-profit community and reside with their children, Nicole and Harrison, in Atlanta.
