Amy Whitley
Amy Whitley is Vice President of Organizational Development for UPS, the world’s largest package delivery company and a global leader in supply chain solutions. UPS services 7.9 million customers daily in over 200 countries and employs over 400,000 employee’s globally.
During her 24-year UPS career, she has held a variety of positions in Small Package Operations and Human Resources, as well as in non-package sectors of the business, including UPS Airline, UPS Capital, and Supply Chain Solutions.
In her current position, Amy oversees Succession Planning, Corporate Schools and organizational Training and Development programs, Executive Education, Workforce Planning, including Affirmative Action, Compliance, Employment and the Diversity council. She also is responsible for UPS’s Global H.R. Systems and HR technology solutions. Most recently, Amy has led the effort to create the first Women’s Leadership Development program at UPS, which unites women across UPS to network internally, and also provides opportunities for business leadership and community volunteerism externally.
Amy is a member of the Human Resources Planning Society (HRPS) and currently serves as a board member on the Atlanta affiliate (HRLF). In addition, Amy serves on the board of the following organizations: Atlanta-based INROADS Intern program (which provides corporate intern opportunities to high-achieving minority college students) and the Atlanta Women’s Network.
A New York native, Amy holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Human resources from Pace University. Amy is married and has two children.
