Ann Stallard

Ann Stallard, a successful business woman for over 30 years, is the CEO of Graphic Communications Corporation (GCC), Lawrenceville, Georgia. Graphic Communications Corporation is a full-service marketing communications, commercial printing and fulfillment company. Ms. Stallard started two other graphic related small businesses during her career. As self described, “I am hopelessly a serial entrepreneur.”

GCC specializes in B-to-B marketing materials for national as well as global companies in the hospitality, financial and health markets. As an award winning printing company, GCC is known for exceptional service and efficient processing of complex multi-channel communications. GCC takes pride in leading initiatives that include online ordering systems for clients’ franchisees, POD with variable data and photographic quality large format display materials. The Company has provided more than two decades of leadership in the Printing & Imaging Association of Georgia.

Ms. Stallard has been recognized often for her entrepreneurial leadership in Metropolitan Atlanta through articles in the Atlanta Journal and the Atlanta Constitution, Business Atlanta Magazine, Georgia Trend Magazine, Womenetics online and The Atlanta Business Chronicle. In 2009, the Atlanta Business Chronicle named Ann as one of the 100 most influential people in Atlanta. She has served on the White House National Initiative on Women’s Business Ownership Task Force and, she was the first businesswoman to be elected National President of the YWCA, 1991-1996. She is a graduate of Leadership Atlanta and a current member of the Georgia Chamber of Commerce. She served as member of the board of directors for United Way of Metropolitan Atlanta, and co-founded Women’s Leadership Council of United Way in 1999, now a national force of more than 56,000 volunteers who raise $150 million annually. Ann served on the global board of the World YWCA in Geneva, Switzerland, where she led the organization in a strategic redesign encompassing 121 countries. The Atlanta YWCA selected Ms. Stallard as A Woman of Achievement and has named her Honorary Lifetime Chair. In 2009, she was elected as Chairman of the Board, United Way of America, the largest non-profit in the country, with 1350 local affiliates and a $5.4 billion dollar annual budget. Ann is the first small business CEO to serve in this position. In 2010 Ann was elected to the Carter Center Board of Councilors.

Ms. Stallard is an active public speaker and published author on leadership, entrepreneurship and civic engagement especially on the issues of diversity in the workplace and the economic empowerment of women around the globe. A native of Wise, Virginia, Ms. Stallard is a graduate of the University of Kentucky where she was selected as the Outstanding Alumna, 2002. In 2004, she was awarded the Turknett Ethical Leadership CEO of the Year, to date, the only woman selected for this honor. In 2010 Ann was selected by W2Wlink for the Ascendency Award, recognizing her success in business and community leadership. She is a member of All Saints Episcopal Church in Atlanta and one of the creators of the church’s Public Policy Network. Along the way, Ann helped raise six children.
